Overview

Vendor accounts are granted to approved members and may be revoked at any time. An 8% commission is paid to USAWeed.org at the time of sale. Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, and may sell only to 21+ customers.

You must maintain a paid USAWeed listing to hold a vendor account.

General Vendor Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Follow all laws in origin and destination, including the 2018 Farm Bill and state hemp programs.
  • Age-Gate: Verify buyers are 21+ and keep auditable records.
  • Truthful Listings: Accurate titles, photos, specs, ingredients, and lab data where required.
  • Shipping: Ship only where lawful; block restricted states/localities.
  • Taxes & Licenses: Maintain business license, insurance, permits; collect/remit taxes.
  • Customer Support: Publish shipping times, returns/refunds, and a working support contact.
  • Recalls & Safety: Remove recalled/unsafe products and notify affected customers immediately.
  • IP & Authenticity: No counterfeits or IP violations.
  • No Medical Claims: Do not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
  • Labeling: Follow packaging/warning rules, including state-specific notices.

  • Packaging & Warnings: Child-resistant where required; age warnings and state notices.
  • Shipping Limits: Do not ship to jurisdictions that prohibit the item, even if listed on USAWeed.

  • Micron filter bags, presses, decarboxylators, heating chambers/ovens.
  • Extraction tools/machines where lawful; closed-loop equipment meeting safety codes.
  • Grow tents/lights, controllers, fertigation, trimming/drying/curing equipment, PPE.
  • Lab supplies that are legally sold and shipped.

Vendor is responsible for buyer qualifications, documentation, and shipping compliance for any regulated equipment.

THCA & CBD (Compliant Only)

  • Hemp-derived THCA and CBD products with valid COAs and compliant shipping/labeling.
  • Edibles, topicals, tinctures, capsules, flower, and vapes—only where lawful.

  • Non-compliant cannabis: Any product violating the 2018 Farm Bill or applicable law, including edibles, capsules, flower, topicals, tinctures, concentrates that exceed legal thresholds or are unlawful where sold/delivered.
  • Synthetic/fake cannabinoids or “legal highs” that are non-compliant.
  • Illegal items of any kind.
  • Weapons: firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives/swords, weapon accessories intended for harm.
  • Tobacco/nicotine products.
  • Used smoking devices/accessories or hygiene-risk items. Exception: used books allowed.
  • Counterfeit/IP-infringing goods, stolen goods.
  • Hazardous materials not legally shippable under carrier/DOT rules.
  • Medical claims or Rx-only items, including products marketed to treat diseases.
  • Anything not cannabis or hemp related. All things listed here must be for/of cannabis/hemp nature or use.

    • Returns & Refunds: Publish clear policies and honor them.
    • Pricing & Fees: Vendor agrees to the 8% commission on each sale processed through USAWeed.
    • Enforcement: USAWeed may remove listings, suspend, or terminate vendor access at our sole discretion.
